Long Time No Talk

So I haven’t written anything here since before I went to Washington DC. I have to say, that was very fun. I made a lot of friends, but I’m not going to get into very comprehensive details. At least not right now– I have to go to bed in a little bit. I just wanted to get something written here before I forgot.
Last night I went to a Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Secondhand Serenade concert. Two things: RJA is kinda not that great in concert (but still not terrible), and John Vesely (Secondhand) has chicken legs (or at least that’s what it looked like from where I was). Last time I only saw like half of a Secondhand song. This time I got three. One day I’ll be able to stay for a whole concert. One day! Haha
This weekend I’m going on an all-youth retreat with my youth group to Kelly’s Island! I’m so excited! We’re leaving at 4:30 tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be so nice. 75+ (which is so great for Ohio, haha). Woo! I don’t know what else to write about that… just thought I’d share my excitement.
I bought my prom dress. It was like $127, which I guess isn’t THAT bad, but it’s still very expensive for my blood. Compare that to my $5 shoes. (; I love Payless. The dress shopping was pretty much Hell, though. I only ever want to do it like 3 more times in my life… MAX! My prom next year, POSSIBLY Josh’s senior prom, and my wedding. That’s IT!
Um, well yeah. That’s all I have for now. Sorry for the lack of excitement. I’ll write something else after the retreat! Laaahhhvvvv yoouuuuuu! (Actually, I only really like you guys, sorry. ;D )

Wow the concert sounded fun, haha. I haven’t been to one in a while though.

I went to DC a year ago on May 6th – 10th with my school, it was soo much fun, but we never went to a concert lol. That sounded fun.

OMGSH! You so have to post a picture or something of that dress of yours! xD My prom dress only cost like $70 last year, which was ok I guess.

DC, eh? I had the oppurtunity to go there on a field trip but it was like $800 so I passed it up.
Payless is quite the shoe store. I like it there
Ross has some very nice prom-esque dresses for way less, sometimes they have flaws since it’s like a factory outlet.

I saw Secondhand Serenade in concert in 2007 on the MTVU tour. I have to say, I had no idea who he was at that point and after hearing him, I didn’t care. It was SO SO SO bad! Now, almost two years later, people have started to hear his song (Fall For You) and it’s so much better recorded than live.. Obviously edited. Sorry you had to suffer through it too.
PS, he does have chicken legs.

i live in ohio and just went to put-in-bay yesterday, which is the island like, right text to kelley’s island. 75+ is great for ohio haha. i hope you had fun at kelley’s island!
