Well, finally! After the last fiasco of not being able to see Cute Is What We Aim For, I wasn’t sure what to do with myself. Luckily, I didn’t have to repeat the same horror. In the midst of a wild, unruly crowd, crushed between like 6 people and barely able to breathe, I watched, danced, screamed, and listened to Shaant sing his tunes. Of course, as with all concerts, I could barely understand it over all the screaming. But it’s something. (: Unlike the last concert I went to where only the middle of the floor was a mosh pit, the whole thing was one this time. Well, maybe not completely moshy, but definitely pushy. I don’t know how I stood my ground, but I did it. (: High five!
First to play was A Rocket To The Moon. About a year ago, there was this wave of MySpace sites putting the song “Baby, We’re Invincible” on their profiles. That’s who its by. I only know about two of his songs, “Fear of Flying,” and that one. But I was still able to appreciate how incredible he is live. Nick Santino is his name. That’s who the 3rd picture up top is with. He has so much hair, holy moley. He’s such a cutie. Haha. The first picture is with the guy who was playing guitar with him. I don’t know his name. It’s not listed on the A Rocket To The Moon MySpace. But he was good, and fun to watch, and he is incredibly gorgeous as well. My sister go a picture with him and then I was like “Would you do me the pleasure as well?” with a little wink, and he’s like “Yeah, since you asked like that. Haha.”
Second was Automatic Loveletter. When I first found out that I was going to the concert and they were playing, I figured I’d better listen to some of their stuff. Within the first 3 seconds of “The Answer,” I fell in love with them. The last two pictures up there are with the band members. Daniel, the guy on the right, stroked my hair… Haha it was kinda funny. I don’t quite blame him though. It was incredibly soft.
Third was CIWWAF, and as explained above, it was fabulous. The second picture is of Shaant. I couldn’t get anything better. Secondhand Serenade played last, but my sister and I only got to listen to about a song and a half before we had to go. From what I heard, Mr. John Vesely is incredible live. I’m gonna have to go to another one of his shows so I can see him all the way through. I was pretty bummed I didn’t get to meet him or anyone from CIWWAF, but I guess that’s the way the cookie crumbles. Maybe next time. (:
